This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how The Wilmeowth Agency (“Agency,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards the personal information of individuals (“you” or “User”) who interact with our website located at www.wilmeowthagency.com (the “Site”) or who otherwise request insurance quotes or services from us. Please read this Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Site or by submitting information to us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.
1. Scope and Applicability
This Policy applies to all personal information collected by the Agency through the Site, through electronic communications, or in connection with the provision of insurance quotation and brokerage services. This Policy does not apply to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, including any third-party insurance carriers, to whom you may be directed in the course of receiving a quote or obtaining coverage.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide Directly
When you submit a quote request or contact us, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
- Full legal name;
- Date of birth;
- Email address;
- Telephone number, including mobile number;
- Residential, property, and mailing addresses;
- Vehicle information (year, make, model, loan status);
- Driver information for household members;
- Property characteristics (type, plumbing, roof, pool, trampoline); and
- Coverage preferences and any additional information you voluntarily provide.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect certain information about your device and browsing activity, including:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address and approximate geographic location;
- Browser type, version, and operating system;
- Device identifiers and hardware characteristics;
- Referring and exit pages, including Uniform Resource Locators (URLs); and
- Pages viewed, time spent on pages, and navigation patterns.
2.3 Information from Third Parties
In order to prepare an accurate quote, we may obtain additional information about you from insurance carriers, consumer reporting agencies, motor vehicle records, and other third-party sources as permitted by law.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information described in Section 2 for the following purposes:
- To prepare, deliver, and administer insurance quotes and related services;
- To respond to inquiries and communicate with you regarding your submission;
- To contact you via telephone call, text message (SMS/MMS), or email, as further described in Section 5;
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site;
- To comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal process, and governmental requests; and
- To prevent fraud, investigate suspected illegal activity, and protect the rights, property, or safety of the Agency, our Users, or others.
We do not sell, rent, or lease your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal information on one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent. You have given your express consent to the processing of your personal information for a specific purpose;
- Contractual Necessity. Processing is necessary to respond to your request for a quote or to provide services you have requested;

5. Telephone and Text Message Communications
5.1 Consent to Receive Communications
By submitting your telephone number through the Site and affirmatively checking the consent box provided, you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS/MMS) and telephone calls from the Agency at the telephone number you provide, including communications sent by means of an automatic telephone dialing system or an artificial or prerecorded voice.
No mobile information, including phone numbers and SMS consent data, will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes at any time. Information related to text messaging is used solely to deliver the messages you have consented to receive and is disclosed only to subprocessors necessary to deliver those messages (such as our SMS platform provider, Twilio).
5.2 Purpose and Content of Messages
Text messages you receive from the Agency will relate solely to:
- Confirmation that your quote request has been received;
- Follow-up questions necessary to complete your quote;
- Delivery of your quote and related coverage information;
- Scheduling of calls or appointments; and
- Customer service communications relating to your submission or policy.
We will not use text messaging for unrelated marketing, promotional content, or third-party advertising.
5.3 Message Frequency
Message frequency varies depending on the nature of your inquiry. You may reasonably expect between one (1) and ten (10) messages per quote request over the duration of our correspondence.
5.4 Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply. The Agency does not charge for the messages we send; however, your mobile carrier may impose standard message, data, or other charges pursuant to your service plan. Please consult your mobile carrier for details.
5.5 Opt-Out and Help
You may opt out of text message communications at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send STOP, we will send one (1) confirmation message and will not send you further text messages unless you re-enroll. To receive help, reply HELP to any message or contact us at the information provided in Section 12. You may also opt out of telephone and email communications at any time by contacting us directly.
5.6 Supported Carriers
Our messaging service is available across major U.S. wireless carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and Virgin Mobile. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5.7 No Condition of Purchase
Your consent to receive text messages or telephone calls is not a condition of purchasing any insurance product or service from the Agency. You may request a quote by telephone or in person without providing such consent.
5.8 Non-Sharing of Mobile Information
Mobile telephone numbers and consent to receive SMS messages are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information obtained in connection with text messaging, including mobile opt-in data, will not be disclosed to any third party except as required to deliver the messages you have requested or as otherwise permitted under Section 6 of this Policy.
6. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose your personal information only in the following limited circumstances:
- Insurance Carriers and Partners. To licensed insurance carriers, underwriters, and brokers for the purpose of preparing, delivering, or servicing a quote or policy you have requested;
- Service Providers. To vendors and service providers who perform functions on our behalf, such as website hosting, email delivery, analytics, and communications platforms, under contractual obligations of confidentiality and data protection;
- Legal and Regulatory. To government authorities, courts, or other parties when required by law, legal process, subpoena, or regulatory request; and
- Protection of Rights. When we believe, in good faith, that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Agency, our Users, or others, or to investigate or prevent fraud.
7. Data Security
The Agency implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Notwithstanding such measures, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
